Ingredients:
Beef Patties:
Ground beef- could also sub ground turkey. I like using 90/10 or 85/15 for ground beef.
Seasonings- salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and granulated sugar (the star of the show)
Possible Toppings:
Lettuce- use as slider buns if gluten free
Tomato slices
Onion
Pickles
Bacon
Avocado slices- easily slice an avocado with this useful 3-in-1 avocado slicer! I use it all the time and it’s beyond easy. As a bonus, clean up is easy because its a 3-in-1 tool!
Optional Side Condiments:
Ranch Dressing
Tools to make these Beef Sliders:
- Skillet
- Cocktail toothpicks
- Plate for patties
- Cookie sheet or equivalent if cooking in the oven
- Bowls for condiments
- Spatula for flipping and removing sliders
How to make these Beef Sliders:
Combine
Combine the ground beef and the seasonings in a large bowl.
Make the patties
Form slider patties, making sure to pack the meat so it stays together and does not crumble.
Cook the sliders in the skillet or oven
Cook the slider patties either on the stovetop or in the oven. Can also grill them on a grill mat. See below for directions on both options.
Slice the toppings
While the sliders are cooking, break up the lettuce to make little lettuce buns and slice up all toppings that you are using.
Assemble the sliders
Once the sliders are finished cooking, assemble by putting the top ingredients of the slider onto the toothpicks, finishing with the bottom ingredient. For example: bun, pickles, tomato, onion, burger, bun.
Put sliders and condiments out
Place condiments in a small bowl and place near the sliders with a spoon so guests can spoon their condiments onto their plate. Enjoy!
How to cook these Beef Sliders in a skillet:
Heat a nonstick skillet on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Coat with 1 Tablespoon of oil, or butter and add slider patties. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Remove from the skillet.
How to cook these Beef Sliders in the oven:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil. Add the slider patties to the cookie sheet about an inch or two apart (they will slightly shrink). Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes depending on desired doneness.
