Ingredients in Valentine’s Day Skewers:
Pancakes- I used my Vegan Gluten Free Pancake Mix recipe, but you can use your favorite kind.
Fresh Fruit- I used a mix of bananas, strawberries and blueberries, but you can use your favorite fruit or whatever you have on hand.
Toppings- you can top these kabobs off with powdered sugar, maple syrup and/or chocolate or peanut butter drizzle.

Tools needed to make Valentine’s Day Pancakes:
- Heart shaped cutters
- 12″ Skewers- I used 12″ wooden bamboo ones like these
- Cutting board and knife
- Strainer for washing the fruit

How to make Valentine’s Day Pancake Kabobs:
Using the heart-shaped cutters, cut hearts out of the pancakes and banana slices.
Place the fresh fruit and pancakes onto the skewers in whatever order you desire (for ideas see the photos throughout the post).
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I use different fruit?
Of course! I used bananas, strawberries and blueberries but use your favorite fruit or what you have on hand. Raspberries, blackberries or even grapes would be nice to use.
Can I still make these if I don’t have a heart shaped cutter?
If you don’t have these heart shaped cutters, that’s okay, you can still make these pancake kabobs! Just make smaller, round pancakes and instead of using a cutter, just pop the whole thing on the skewer. You can also keep the banana slices as is and not cut them into hearts.
Are these pancakes gluten free
I used my Vegan and Gluten Free Pancake recipe, so they are gluten free, dairy free and egg free.
