This Iced Peach Green Tea is naturally flavored and made with just 4 simple ingredients including fresh, juicy peaches. No artificial flavors, sweeteners or syrups- just green tea and peaches!
Another peach recipe for you but this time its a drink! Perfect for hot days and to serve to crowds, this peach recipe will not disappoint.
I love iced teas, especially peach flavored ones, but I don’t always love the ingredients and sweeteners that are put into them. There are some brands that have simple ingredients, but cost a fortune for just one bottle.
This Iced Peach Green Tea is made with just 4 ingredients if you want to count the water as one. Just water, peaches, green tea and honey as an optional sweetener if you like your tea on the sweeter side.
You can make this recipe vegan by swapping out the honey for cane sugar or agave.

Ingredients in Iced Peach Green Tea:
Water- the base for the tea and the number one ingredient. Instead of brewing the tea and water first, we add the tea last and simmer the water and peaches together to infuse all the natural peach flavors.
Peaches- fresh, juicy, ripe and sweet peaches work best. The more sweet your peaches are, the better and the sweeter the tea will be.
Green Tea Bags- you can use regular or decaffeinated in this recipe. I like to use decaffeinated since I rarely drink caffeine and I can enjoy this later in the day as well. I used to drink green tea every day when I was in high school and can vouch that Lipton is the best flavor and the smoothest. Other brands were too sour and had a weird aftertaste.
Honey- peaches and honey pair so well together, but you can also use your favorite liquid sweetener or cane sugar. If you like your tea on the less sweet side, you may decide to not add any additional sweetener at all. If you like your tea sweet, feel free to add more sweetener according to your preference.
Tools needed to make Iced Peach Green Tea:
- Large pot- enough to hold 16 cups, or 4 quarts, of water
- Liquid measuring bowls
- Measuring spoons
- Strainer– these are great because you can place them over a bowl to separate the peaches from the tea
- Pitcher or mason jars- I prefer to keep the tea in these mason jars sealed in my fridge
How to make Iced Peach Green Tea:
Simmer: Add the water and peach slices to a large pot and simmer with the lid on for 2 hours. Add the green tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey.
Strain and pour: Place a strainer over a large bowl and pour the tea into the bowl. Remove the peaches and let come to room temperature. Pour into a pitcher or mason jars and place in the fridge to chill. Serve over ice.
How to make Iced Peach Green Tea:
What to do with the cooked, leftover peaches:
Don’t just discard the peaches, but rather freeze them in a freezer ziploc. Add them to your smoothies, oatmeal, or use them as ice cubes in this tea!
How to store this tea:
This tea can be stored in the fridge in a pitcher, or my favorite- mason jars, and can be kept for up to 5 days. Make sure to stir or shake before serving as some separation is natural.
