Ingredients in Candied Pecans:
Raw Pecan Halves– I used unsalted and have not tried salted, but if you use salted you most likely do not need any extra salt.
Mape Syrup- use 100% pure maple syrup and not pancake syrup.
Salt- optional, but provides a nice balance to the maple syrup and gives you the best sweet and salty mix.
Tools needed to make Candied Pecans with Maple Syrup:
- Glass bowl– I used the smallest bowl for this recipe
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Spatula
- Parchment paper– make sure your use parchment paper and not tin foil. They will stick to the tin foil as they harden, but they peel right off of parchment paper. Also, these parchment paper sheets are life changing. I use them for everything!
- Cookie sheet– these are the exact cookie sheets that I use. They’re heavy duty and easy to clean.
