Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the best champagne for mimosas?

I like using a mid-range champagne, or even a Prosecco for a cheaper option.

Can I make this into a non-alcoholic mimosa?

Yes, and very easily too! Simply just swap out the Champagne or Prosecco for sparkling white grape juice.

Can I make these mimosas ahead of time?

I wouldn’t recommend it since the champagne or sparkling juice will go flat.  Luckily, you can throw these drinks together in a matter of seconds!

What’s the best ratio for a mimosa?

The perfect ratio of juice to champage is really up to you.  Classic mimosa recipes typically use a 1:1 ratio.  In this apple cider mimosa, we use a 2:1 ratio of cider to wine.  You can always experiment and use whatever tastes best to you!

Can I use apple juice instead of cider?

I wouldn’t recommend it.  Apple cider and apple juice have highly different tastes and apple cider works best in this recipe.
